Description

This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove “P”-pressing of Kenny Dorham “Afro-Cuban” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1535. The rim is hybrid: partially flat and partially slightly elevated (but not beaded). The playing surface has a high luster and, from the condition of the spindle hole, appears to have been played once or twice; however, there are inaudible light scuffs and hairlines on Side 1, Tracks 1 and 2 and at the beginning of Side 2, track 1; in all, it plays near-new. The Lexington Avenue frame cover is bright and clean throughout; superficial rubbing on all seams; the bottom seam has 1” wear at the spine and a 4” split at the opening; the front has a ½” chip at the lower right corner. Personnel include Hank Mobley, Cecil Payne, Horace Silver, Oscar Pettiford, and Art Blakey. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL. However, you can continue to pay directly to us using VISA, MasterCard or Discover credit cards, if you prefer. NOTE: If you win more than one item, wait to receive a revised invoice from us before making payment, for shipping.
