Description
For various obsessive-compulsive collector reasons, I have duplicate copies of about a dozen early out-of-print Music Matters 45rpm 2LP sets mastered by Steve Hoffman (of DCC fame) and Kevin Gray. This auction is for Kenny Drew's "Undercurrent" - others will be listed separately. It would be easy to just say they’re all NM/NM overall, but I have inspected and play tested all of them with my picky standards. Any flaws listed are "as-opened", not from owner mishandling. I can take more detailed pics of any issue you want to see. All of these include their original inserts. This copy of "Undercurrent" is limited edition #144. Near Mint cover with some very light “carbon rub” on one edge of the white back cover. All sides are audibly Near Mint – side 3 has some very light lead-in surface noise. Great sound quality! Visually, sides 1 and 3 each have a tiny cosmetic pressing bubble. Side one’s bubble is not audible, and side three’s bubble results in one soft tick. I'm really fussy about my vinyl and covers, and this is a very nice set that will not disappoint. Plus, it's play graded versus the risk of buying a sealed OOP set that may have a flawed pressing.
