Description
This is the original 1970 UK stereo issue, with the rough Blue Horizon labels and the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-4 A-6 stampers of the first pressings!
The first album and only album by Key Largo was recorded at CBS Studios, London & released in early 1970. Originally all from London the group comprised; Pat McAuliffe on vocals, Laurence 'Laurie' Garman on harmonica, Laurie Sanford on guitar, Bob Savage on keyboards, Tom Stead on bass & Kenny Lamb on drums. According to Mike Vernon who produced the album and their only single that followed in October, the band never really made the transition from studio to live act....
Lamb & Garman went on to play with Lightnin Slim & Jellybread and many others during the 1970's and early 1980's!
Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen.
The matrix nos. are; 7-63859, A-1 stamper A-4, B-1 stamper A-6, This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems! All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
Royal Mail post to Europe (All EU countries & non EU countries, including Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zone 1, including Canada, Japan, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and the Rest of the World Zone 2 (Australia & New Zealand etc), and the USA in Zone 3.
All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
