Description
A quite incredible single sourced collection of vintage 30 years old upwards modern Jazz and desirable classical pressings, all in unplayed and mainly factory sealed condition. This whole collection has been in cool dry upright ideal storage for all its life until a few weeks ago, when I got first offer on them. An opportunity to bid on such a high quality never opened collection is a rare chance. Bid now to ensure more are offered. I could quite happily keep plenty of these!.
Sid Philips in the late 50's from the collection of a HMV employee, where this would have been stored until I bought it. Lovely sound to this first off the presses factory Sample from the 1950's, a perfect treat for a mono cartridge. At this time, he arranged as if he was the English Ellington, the writing here is fabulous, the playing every bit as good. Near mint 1st press with super clean labels, no marks to surfaces or sleeve.
