Description
This is the very first issue of Killing Joke’s 2nd release Wardance b/w Pssyche from 1980, complete with the band’s very rare version of an Army Call-Up letter for National Service in the form of an A5 insert. It was originally signed by Jaz and twice (accidentally) by a stoned’ Youth after the band’s gig at Liverpool Brady’s on 28th November 1980.
Big Paul and Geordie then added their signatures to it on 4th October 2008, when I interviewed the band at the Forum in North London (see pics), so it is now fully signed by the original line-up of Jaz, Youth, Georgie and Big Paul and ultra rare.
The fully signed sleeve is in mint- condition, free from any creases, seem splits or ring-wear. The original vinyl record is pristine, lovely and shiny and the 1st edition labels bear the words copyright control, not the later EG music.
Mastered by John Dent (Jonz etched in run-out area) at The Sound Clinic (not The Townhouse). No Lyntone numbers. Early copies contained an A5 repro army call up paper.
