Description

This is part of a big auction of King & Federal 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few rare blues & R&B extras.  Take a look at my other items and keep an eye out for a Herald/Ember auction starting 8/7 and an all 50's Atlantic Records auction on 8/21.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Another of the better known King artists.  Reed has a unique delivery bordering on rockabilly, but with R&B instrumentation. Has the standard blue labels with silver print.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape and plays very well, but does have several tiny marks. Tested and plays great. No pops, skips, ticks, etc. Almost no background noise at all.  Labels have some light wear including a small red pencil mark and a tiny surface tear. Strong side of VG.


Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on almost all the records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage.  This particular one has a split about 2/3 of the way down the right side.
