Description

This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1959


Notes: White label promo first pressing. One of the last singles released by the New York band.  Cool mash-up of doo-wop, R&B and rock 'n roll. Just a classic 1950's sound here.  Tough to find record.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny surface scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, with no tearing/stickers. This is a nice copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light wrinkles & a small pencil number in the corner.  No splits or tears though, VG/VG+.
