Description
Island ILPS 9127 UK stereo first pressing with EJ Day gatefold sleeve and original 04/70 dated inner sleeve. Vinyl is lovely and glossy, fully play tested and in the main plays superbly
Matrix numbers etc are:
ILPS 9127 A//1 1 2 2
ILPS 9127 B//1 1 1 2
This album has some lengthy extremely quiet passages yet both sides play superbly with the exception of some very quiet ticks for a minute or so of the final track - tolerable in my opinion. The rest plays absolutely fine without any distracting surface noise, with quiet run-ins and practically no noise between tracks ( perhaps the odd tick just audible) and without jumps or sticks. Great clear, clean sound.
The vinyl is visually (under a spotlight) EX, clean and shiny with a few faint hairlines & scuffs and a tiny barely visible and non feelable 3mm mark on the final track that causes the ticks mentioned above.
The textured gatefold sleeve is VG+, clean with wear to the spine but no splits or tears. Inside the gatefold is perfect.
The original poly lined inner dated 04/70 inner has creasing but no splits or tears

Gradings are uk record collector. I do not use "mint" unless a record is unplayed, nor do I use multiple "+" eg VG++. Visual grading is done under a bright spotlight.
Records will be posted in cardboard mailers with stiffening. Usually new but occasionally I reuse mailers.
Returns accepted on safe return of item if buyer is not satisfied.
