Description
King Crimson - In the Wake of Poseidon on the pink Island label. Loft find, unplayed since 1980 at the latest except for testing, it was in a box in the corner of my parent's loft and I forgot I had it.
The record itself appears unmarked save for some very fine hairline marks on side one only which are visible if you hold it at a certain angle to the light. I have test played it and it is fine except for a few background crackles. As you can see from the pics, the labels are nice and clean.
The inner sleeve is intact although there are a few creases near the corners and a couple of folds on the glued edge.
The cover is gatefold and is actually quite nice although not quite mint. There is what I would describe as light wear to the tip of each corner as seen in the pics and then pic 3 shows a light mark towards the bottom rear edge. Other than that, it is fine.
All in all this is an absolutely original record used but not abused. Its not mint but it is very tidy.
