Description

King Crimson - Islands

Island - ILPS 9175 (1971)

Record/Sleeve: Ex/VG

Matrix Side One: ILPS 9175 A-1U 1 RP

Matrix Side Two: ILPS 9175 B-1U 3 AO

This record has been cleaned and play tested, and is in excellent condition. Vinyl is very nice condition indeed with no marks or scratches. It has minimal light crackle in quiet passages, and just two clicks that I noticed side two between tracks 2 & 3. The labels are clean with the faintest evidence of spindle trails only visible when held to the light.

The matt flipback sleeve has edgewear on all sides (truth is it's rarely found in an unmarked condition). It's inner printed lyric gatefold is complete with no tears. Although the inner's fold has no splits, it has at one time or other had tape adhered down the title fold (for protection I assume) but this is no longer there. In it's place remains age-yellowed tape residue which is completely dry and not worth attempting to remove as it's quite neat - and not horrible (the record will be supplied in a new inner sleeve and housed in a new crystal clear 'Blake' sleeve.

Side One:
