Description
Really nice copy on original vinyl of King Crimson "Larks Tongues in Aspic" on PINK RIMMED Island ILPS 9230. With original paper inner sleeve!
A/1 and B/1 matrixs - the very first pressing!!!
Ok, the vinyl first. Its a very strong Excellent - there are no scratches. There is a tiny 1cm almost hairline mark across Side 2, track 2, but that is the only visible mark I can see. The vinyl is wonderfully clear and glossy. The spindle is totally flat, no marks, suggesting very limited play. The pink rimmed paper labels are as good as you'll get, 35 years on - no writing, no marks, just perfect, no indications of even light play.
The paper inner is flat and intact, no marks - just slight yellowing around the corners.
The sleeve is good. Probably excellent, actually - there are no specific flaws, but it has a small amount of ringwear right at the bottom centre on the front. There are also small grey-ish (finger)marks on the top centre. See the photographs...
