King Crimson - Larks' Tongues In Aspic LP
Atlantic #SD 7263 orig. US pressing from 1973
This copy was personally signed by Robert Fripp
on the back side of the cover in black Sharpee style pen.
I did some research and the signature is definitely legit.
This LP came from a big prog. collection I went through
last year and it was obvious that K.C. was their favorite
group to collect as there were multiple LP pressing variations
of many of their releases in the collection but this was the only one that had been personally signed by group leader and
pioneering guitarist Robert Fripp. There are four letters
that follow his signature (see photo above) that look to
me like " t p. K.C." but I'm not certain about the first two
letters. The third & fourth letters obviously stand for
King Crimson. If you win the auction I'm sure you'll
have hours of fun trying to decipher the meaning of
those four letters.
CONDITION - VG+/ VG+
Vinyl looks great with only some very light wear as visible
under strong white light. Labels are clean & look nice.
Cover looks great all around but does have the slightest
signs of wear on the back in a few places. Spine and
seams are free of any splits. Definitely a great item
worthy of any serious collection. Bid with confidence.
