Description

1973 First pressing with pink rim labels, printed inner sleeve with Basing Street address below the Island logo. Probably the very, very 1st press, because, unlike other early releases, this one is missing "All songs published by E.G. Music Ltd © 1973" on cover rear which was added only later.

Includes a printed inner sleeve.
Cover rear and inner sleeve has 'basing street london w11' beneath the Island logo. 

Barcode and Other Identifiers

  • Matrix / Runout (Side A, stamped [variant 1]): ILPS-9230 A-2U
  • Matrix / Runout (Side A, etched [variant 1]): SARK.
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B, stamped [variant 1]): ILPS-9230 B-2U R

Vinyl is VG+ - some light wispy marks. It plays with some slight noise in the quieter passages and between tracks. It may benefit from a proper, professional clean (or if you have a vinyl cleaning machine.....). 
Cover is VG (might even be VG+ to be honest). Some age marks and light shelf wear, but the spine is still readable. 
Inner sleeve is original printed. Split at the bottom and slightly crumpled but VG anyway. It has 9230 King Crimson printed in ballpoint on the plain rear of the inner sleeve.
