Description
An original 1st press of LTIA on the UK Island label from 1973. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1-OH/1-OO. Etching 'SARK'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. No inner sleeve I'm afraid.
Vinyl (Ex+) In truly superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out more than a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Please note Crimson often make use of a substantial amount of low-key passages in their music and LTIA is no exception. Unless you are listening on a super low-mileage copy, like this one, background is going to start interfering with the listening experience. Interference is practically non-existent. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles the entire way through. Whilst not perfect this copy is not too far away either..The audio quality is truly stunning. If you could ask for perfect resolution and a perfect rendition then this might well qualify..FINAL UPGRADE..you won't be disappointed. Please note the numbers one & two have been written in biro on their respective sides.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition and has been looked after, but starting to show some foxing in places. The front is pretty decent with just some very light foxing - ditto the rear. Edge wear is mostly light and the text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
