Description

Up for sale is an original 1973 Island pressing of King Crimson's fifth studio album, Larks' Tongues in Aspic. I imported this record myself from London two years ago. This has been my personal copy since, but it is simply time to clean out my shelves some. If you're looking for a long-lasting UK original of this, look no further.

Sleeve: VG+
The sleeve has accumulated light shelf wear with some light yellowing in the whites, some slight ring wear in the red frame, and moderate edge wear throughout. No seam splits on the outer sleeve.  Overall a good and presentable condition, a fair VG+. The original inner lyric sleeve is included and is in equal shape with some light split edges. A standard blank sleeve is included to help preserve it and the record.

Disc: VG+
Visually, the disc is a strong VG+ to EX with some light scratches with normally little effect on play. However this is a very quiet record with long hushed movements and so despite the visual grade, it is only fair to give it a VG+ for play testing. I have cleaned this record on a VPI and it plays very gorgeously, just with slight crackle in some of the quieter moments of the album. If need be, I can record snippets to give a playing grade sample. Ultimately there are no major defects or distractions, a strong and conservative VG+.

Overall this is a great copy of this hard to find and delicate record. You can rest assured that this record will be carefully packed for the best chance of you receiving it in its proper condition.
