Record Grade per Goldmine Standard: VG
Here, with their third album, is a group of young Christians with a love for, and a desire to please their Savior. THE SACRED WAY QUARTET In your pleasure of listening you will immediately recognize their genuine sincerity as Don McCann, who formed the group and is also fulfilling the call of the Lord to preach the Gospel, sings the lead. Brenda Williams, alto; Rollin Chase, tenor; Ronnie Taylor, bass; and Dinah Ely at the piano; each doing his part unto the Lord. They are a blessing to the many- churches they visit, in special services, evangelistic work, and their radio ministry. Don, who also pastors a church, has a strong Christian background. His father is also a minister, and being reared close to the church, he loves this work and has deep concern that all people know about this wonderful way of the Lord. He and his wife, Linda, have four fine children. Brenda and Rollin have great plans for the future since announcing their engagement. Dinah and Ronnie are still in school, looking forward to graduation. These songs are to cheer the sad, encourage the Christian, and call the sinner to a better way of life. Being a part of the music on this album is a treasured experience for the Benton Family. Knowing and working with the SACRED WAY QUARTET, we love them and appreciate their ministry in song and in Brother Don's preaching. Seeing the harmony with which the group works makes us know the Lord works with them. May all their talents and ambitions be an offering to the great Creator.
