Description

Kingsport TN Tennessee Civic Auditorium Crusaders in Concert Vinyl LP Record
Record Grade per Goldmine Standard: VG
From the very beginning, it was evident that this was a Crusader’s audience. The stage .. was set, a truck load of recording equipment set up outside, and an auditorium packed with spirit—filled Christians and gospel fans anxiously waiting inside . The place for this big event to take place was the beautiful Civic Auditorium, Kingsport, Tennessee. “ Absolute silence swept over the auditorium as the time approached for the concert to commence. The big spotlight focused on the center stage as Tilford Salyer, promoter and emcee for the evening of gospel music, stepped to the microphone.......“and now ladies and.gentle- men, Kingsport’s own pride and joy, The CRUSADERS QUARTET!” It was like thunder as the audience welcomed their favorite group to the stage to sing and minister to them for the next 45 minutes. I have never heard The Crusaders sing more beautifully nor have I ever seen a more receptive audience. Tri—State Recording Company meticulously engineered the recording to studio perfection. The t stage was filled with studio musicians, amplifiers and mikes everywhere to complement the artistry of this loved and respected group. Fans left the concert blessed and glad that they had attended this most memorable event. You, too, can enjoy this same experience and dedication through listening to this fine album, The CRUSADERS IN CONCERT.
