Description

COVER  The front of the cover has suffered some edge wear, particularly to the spine, which, I am led to believe, is common for this issue of the album due to the somewhat delicate nature of the design and materials. There is a tear to the base of the spine (0.25",0.5cm). There is a small piece of the front illustration missing from the bottom right hand corner. Some lifting of the laminate. All of these can be viewed in the picture!!!

The inner of the gatefold is in very good condition with the only major defect being the tear to the base. There is a very minimal amount of visual evidence of the edge wear.

The back of the cover has signs of age discolouration. There is a small tear to the base (0.75",1.5cm). Some creasing around edges and associated laminate lift.

No writing on cover.

INNER SLEEVE  Plain Very small tear at window. Some creasing. UK Patent 1 072 844. Two faint stains and minimal evidence of age discolouration. No writing

VINYL Side 1. Stamped 'NSPL 18317A-1  *T STEREO' No visible scratches. A couple of small faint smudges.
Side 2. Stamped 'NSPL 18317B-1  *T STEREO' One harline surface scratch which can only be detected under very close scrutiny with background light. A couple of small very faint smudges.

LABELS. Clean. No writing. No stains. Some, but not many, spindle traces.

INSERTS Very clean. A small tear at fold(<0.5", 1cm)

COMMENTS The condition of the cover, although not seriously poor, is the only negative aspect of an album in otherwise excellent condition ( As I say though, it seems to be a design fault and I have seen covers of this album in a much, much worse state. The plus, of course, is it is on the Pye Label (and labelled 'Commissioned by Granada Television Ltd.!!!). Please have a close look at the pictures and decide if you wish to bid. As always I am being totally honest and not hyping anything.

I am in the process of selling off my personal collection of  vinyl from the very early
60’s through to the 80’s. I am not a dealer but other interests (AKA - funding old age) mean the collection must go (along with lots of other stuff). My records were important to me and they were well cared for, sympathetically stored and never taken to parties or loaned out.  If the record is not from my collection I will make reference to that in the comments section. Where applicable, RC criteria is used when a grading is given. I have tried to be conservative  (after taking professional advice) but totally honest. Most of the records have not been played for some time (I no longer have a player) so the description is limited to a visual examination, and the vinyl would probably benefit from being cleaned in a professional manner. Any ‘deposits’ other than dust will be mentioned. If you decide to purchase one of my collection I want you to be completely satisfied and hope it will continue to give maximum enjoyment.

I have put in as much detail as is possible regarding the condition of cover, inner sleeve, labels, vinyl and inserts (where applicable) and have not described them as something they are not. However a buyer can rest assured that the records have always been kept in a pet-free and smoke-free environment

The records will be sent out in record mailers with two stiffeners. Proof of postage will always be obtained with a ‘recorded signed for’, if thought necessary,  for both of our protection

If you are in any way dissatisfied with the transaction, I would ask that you, first of all, give me the opportunity to put it right and this would include a refund if I have, in any way, misrepresented the condition of your purchase. This would be dependent on the return of the item in the condition in which it was sent and you contact me within 48 hours of receipt of item. I can not envisage this happening as I have not hyped up the condition of my records as this is of no benefit to anyone.

Items need to be paid for within 7 days of bid being accepted. If this is a problem please contact me before you bid. I will make every effort to dispatch items within 3 working days of payment being cleared (Royal Mail first class). Overseas buyers by PAYPAL only. Items over £40 will be insured (Royal Mail Special Delivery or Airsure) and this will be added to P and P so please wait for invoice before sending payment.

If you do not accept these conditions in total, or are not happy with a visual examination only, then please do not bid. If there are any points which you deem to be important then please contact me before bidding. Better to find out first than be disappointed later!

Thank you for looking and if you have questions, please contact me. Records will be added on a regular basis when time and commitments allow.
