Kinks Face to Face UK Pye lp NPL 18149

Stunning copy of this rare classic.

Matrices NPL 18149 A2/B2

The record is in excellent condition. It is flat and very clean and shiny. On casual inspection it looks free from any marks but under bright light there are a couple of 1/2cm marks that are not feelable and do not distract from the music in any way. There are also some very light wispy "sleeve marks" that again are inaudible. The deep grooves of this 60's pressing mean that the sound is superb throughout.

The labels are in excellent condition. They are free from writing, rips, tears or stickers. There are a number of spindle marks indicating that the lp has been well played but it has clearly been looked after.

The cover is in near mint condition. I have seldom seen any sleeve from the 60's of this kind of quality. There are no creases or scratching to the laminate front and only the tiniest hint of roughness to the opening, which I mention only to be over-cautious. The rear of the sleeve is stunning. It is clean and white with no hint of browning, grubbiness: even on the flips. There is 1mm of wear to the lower right flip corner. Other than that this sleeve looks like it was printed yesterday.

Sadly the Pye inner is missing and a generic one has replaced it but you can easily replace this for a few pence with a correct one from your local car boot (Petula Clark lps would be a good bet - sorry Petula!).

Copies of this kind of quality don't come up that often. Happy bidding.
