Description
The Kink's masterpiece "The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society" from 1969. This is the original issue, Reprise 6327, complete with gatefold sleeve and rare two-tone Reprise labels. Easily the Kinks at their very best, and an impossible record to find in it's original issue form. Killer all the way around. Includes original inner sleeve as well. This record pops up on eBay from time to time, and I've seen it go in the $70-$80 range, but I've started the bidding low and set a Buy It Now at an incredibly fair $50. Take advantage of the fact that I've got money troubles and don't sleep on a chance to pick up this incredible record!!!
This album has been incredibly cared for and preserved for the last 40 years. The sleeve is in VG++ shape with only some very minimal, almost unnoticable ringwear at the bottom of the front cover.
The vinyl is in equally immaculate shape, with no noticable markings or scuffs, bordering on NM-. Plays amazing, sounds as electric and new as it did the day it came out. Overall, the record is in fantastic, surprisingly great shape.
Domestic shipping via Priority Mail is $8.00. This usually takes 2-3 days. If you wanted Media Mail instead, it would be $4.00 and take a little longer. International Air Mail shipping would be $15.00 for and generally takes 4-7 days. The record will be packed carefully in a sturdy cardboard mailer, created just for the purpose of sending records undamaged through the mail. If you had any other shipping concerns, delivery confirmation, insurance, etc. I could work with that, too, but I cannot insure international shipping at all. Too risky and no real way to track it. Sorry guys. I will for sure ship anywhere in the world, but I can't be held responsible if the mail loses it or delays it.
