Superb reissue for country music aficionado! Nashville, Owen Bradley, and the first massively successful female country artist collected here in her prime.
Bear Family #BFX15239(7). 1987 5LP set collects 95 1949-57 recordings (7 previously unreleased) from country star Kitty Wells. Includes all 5 original inner sleeves and detailed booklet with notes by Bob Pinson, Richard Weize and Charles Wolfe. All 5 records are in pristine condition. They have been played just once and recorded to other media. The sleeves are in near perfect condition. The box is near mint but has one damaged corner (see photo). This boxed set has been owned by me since 1987 and stored in a temperature and humidity controlled, smoke-free library for 29 years.
