Description
Der Schoene-Hjuler-Memorial-Fond, Weizenstieg 11, 24941 Flensburg, presents:
LP with artwork-cover and handpainted labels by Kommissar Hjuler and Mama Baer, Edition Huelsmann, Mueseum Huelsmann, Bielefeld, LP made by the museum for the exhibition "Kunst im Quadrat" (09.02.07-30.09.07), Artists-Record of only 66 copies, only sold during the exhibition. The frontside shows a "painted" Anti-LP (black and light pink), the backside is a unique artwork, this one shows a running piece of wood, jumping over a bowl with paint. The piece of wood weras baby sockeats, also painted, the "head" is painted paper with rubber band and plastic. This is one of my personal favourites. All 66 covers are shown on our website.
At the exhibition tthe museum has shown our LPs "Jobeuyseph", "K6" and "dissobedienti", the press has stated that the "dissobedienti" LP in wooden box was the most large-scale/expensive cover in history of LP covers, this cover by Kommissar Hjuler and Scott Rautmann is really a big one, lots of work and time flew into it, thank you very much Scott, for he has done most of the work.
I will enclose a free catalogue of the exhibition, concerning four sides with information about us and the Edition Huelsmann.
On 26th April 2008 the museum huelsmann will make a special by Kommissar Hjuler and Mama Baer for the Lange Bielefelder Museumsnacht 2008 "NachtAnsichten" with exhibtion of some works by us, anti-live-concert and short film presentation.
You will be able to see us live at KKI Flensburg together (collaboration and solo) with John Wiese (Sunn O))), Wolf Eyes, bastard Noise, merzbow, ...) on 19th January, sa a part of his Scandinavia/Germany tour 2008. This week he will play at Rote Flora HH and bremen, the week after at Denmark and Norway.
