Verve MG V 8335: Lee Konitz Meets Jimmy Giuffre. Original 1st pressing with deep groove labels and trumpeter logo. This session has an all star cast, including Lee Konitz, Hal McKusik, Warne Marsh, Ted Brown, and Jimmy Giuffre, with Bill Evans in one of his early recordings, Buddy Clark and Ronnie Free. Five saxes and rhythm!! The cover is clean, bright and crisp. No splits or tears, fairly sharp corners, with some minor tip rubbing. Only very light cover wear. Back cover has a small ink pen 4.98 upper left, inspection stamp lower right corner. Labels are new looking, with very little center hole wear, approximately 6 spindle marks. Vinyl is very clean, bright, glossy, with that factory new sheen. Side A has small area of faint, very fine fuzzy scuffs, and a very few tilt in the light, fine hairlines. Side two has tow to three very faint tilt in the light marks. GRade cover VG++. Grade Side One VG++. Grade side Two M-. This disc would benefit from a professional machine cleaning.
