Kool Blues – ‘(I’m Gonna) Keep On Loving You’ / ‘Why Did I Go’ – Capsoul 25 (US)  

No introduction necessary. Ohio soul of the highest order on the rare and collectable Capsoul label. Virtually nothing is known about the Kool Soul duo other than their names, Bill Gilbert and John Primm, and their two records for Capsoul, this one, and ‘Can We Try Love Again’ (Capsoul 30). (For more on Capsoul, Numero’s wonderful CD in the Eccentric Soul series is an absolute must!) The 45 on offer is in top shape; if you’ve ever been thinking about getting it, now’s the time to strike!

Condition: Excellent (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).
