Description

  • Please read the details of this vinyl record before bidding as I give honest appraisals of all my listings. 

  • The front cover is starting to show its age with a creases throughout and a small tear on top, the rear is slightly creased and showing age-related discolouration. The inner sleeve/artwork is in generally good condition throughout with a slight easily-repairable tear at the bottom. The record itself is generally in very good condition with one obvious scratch on side two. 

    • Upon its release in 1978, NME stated: 'The Man-Machine by Kraftwerk stands as one of the pinnacles of 70s' rock music", adding that "the sparsity of the lyrics leaves the emphasis squarely on those robot rhythms, chilling tones and exquisite melodies."  Personally, I would not describe the album as 'rock' but I do agree with the sentiment especially when talking about the standout tracks 'Metropolis' and 'The Model'. 

    • Please note that as I no longer have a turntable, this description is based on a visual inspection only. Please also bear in mind that the LP is around 40 years old.
