Description

Kubelik –
POLOVTSIAN DANCES –
Capitol SG7249 -
Side-Logo Original

Here, with the Vienna Phil and the Chorus of the Society of Friends of Music, conductor Rafel Kubelik takes on with aplomb Borodin POLOVTSIAN DANCES and SYMPHONY No. 2 IN B MINOR.

An early, side-logo platter pressed by Capitol on this side of the Pond, back when Capitol was producing some of the finest records on the planet.

Laminated hardboard cover is without major fault, just has an ink note on back. Record inside – the heavy platter original – will play near mint.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
