Condizioni : copertina che a parte poche lievi grinzette sul lato frontale è in perfetto stato, NEAR MINT. Alla foto 2 il retro copertina che è identico (titoli a parte, naturalmente) al secondo volume / vinile probabilmente mai prima suonato, presenta malauguratamente una piccola fossettina sul secondo lato dovuta a cattivo stampaggio. Nell'ascolto dei solchi toccati da questo difetto si avvertono per pochi secondi una serie di ben udibili tocs (ne ho contati 9) senza tuttavia alcun salto. A causa di questa pecca la gradazione generale del disco, che sarebbe MINT-, deve essere ridimensionata a un più modesto VG+

Conditions : cover shows a few light creases on the front, otherwise perfect, NEAR MINT. You may look at the back cover on the image nr. 2 : it is identical to the back cover of volume 2, except the titles of the tunes, of course / disc, although looking as unplayed or so, has a small dig due to a bad factory pressing on the second side which affects play for a few seconds with nine well-audible crackles though without any jump. The grading should be MINT- without this unpleasant flaw : unfortunately I have to grade the vinyl as VG+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Note : registrato a Milano nel Dicembre 1961. La cantante Italo-Maltese interpreta magnificamente i due brani in Inglese con timbrica cristallina e fresca in piena chiave jazz; splendidamente accompagnata da  George Gruntz, pianoforte, George Joyner, contrabbasso e Buster Smith, batteria. Il primo Svizzero, gli altri due provenienti dagli Stati Uniti.

Notes : recorded in Milan, on December, 1961. Lilian Terry, born in Egypt from Maltese father and Italian mother, performs magnificently the two tunes in English with clear and cool voice totally devoted to jazz; she is wonderfully accompanied by George Gruntz (from Switzerland), piano, George Joyner, double bass and Buster Smith, drums (both from USA).
