 From Colombia, South America...one of the best grind/HC/thrash bands of Medellin's 1980s scene...

LA PESTILENCIA "Las Nuevas Adventuras De..." LP (Morbida Productions, COLOMBIA 1993/original!!!)

Colombia in the late 1980s/early 1990s was known as the home of the rawest, most violent and crazy HC/punk/thrash/metal in the world...bands like I.R.A., Fertil Miseria, Rasix, Sociedad Violenta, No, Restos De Tragedia, and others...plus the amazing "Rodrigo D: No Futuro" movie and soundtrack, with its whirlwind of violent noise...matching the violent surroundings, I guess? I'm not a sociologist, but I know good noise, and this album, my friends, is some KILLER NOISE for HC/GRIND/THRASH/METAL freaks! Together with the first Pestilencia LP (1989), this is some of the best material ever from Colombia! The other songs (11 more) tend to be faster, but still really rough and intense. This album is like a brick to the head. According to my Colombian friends, this band had members of MASACRE (awesome Colombian 80s thrash band) in it, and you can definitely put this in the same class. Do I need to also tell you how rare Colombian HC/Punk/Metal albums are? (The answer is: Incredibly rare.) This album has only shown up on E-bay ONE time in the past on E-bay, according to Popsike. I bought it in Germany, from a distro that was selling old stock copies. GET IT NOW! You probably won't EVER see it again.

Condition: Like I wrote above, I bought this as a new, unplayed stock copy. I probably played it 10 times or less before burning it onto CD and filing it away. So it's definitely VG+ or better. Comes with lyric insert, too.
