One of the original exponents of the true "Miami Sound"-way before Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine's spin on Cuban rhythms started to bubble in the clubs, Orchestra Suprema - one of the first original Cuban salsa bands to record in the U.S., completely ruled the roost in Miami with their infectious rhythms and explosive energy. When Suprema played a dance, they drew thousands of people with little or no advertising -their appeal was legendary. Up until now, these rare recordings have been in great demand in collector's circles all over Europe and Japan, the original vinyl pressings selling for hundreds of dollars apiece in the States and abroad. This release marks the first documentation of this legendary band to be released in the U.S. and the first ever to include selections from all of their vinyl releases from the equally legendary Sound Triangle label. These are the roots of modern Cuban salsa at its finest.

VG+ : Record is really nice, may present a few visible defaults which are slightly audible. Sleeve may present a few defaults like light openings, ringwear.
VG : Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible defaults. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears.
G : Surface scuffed, many scratches or marks, surface noise, maybe some skips.
POOR : very bad condition, a lot of big marks or scratch, surface noise and jumps.
