LADYBIRDS Handsome Boy NORTHERN SOUL/GIRL GROUP Lawn 45

Lawn Records L-231, The Ladybirds: "Handsome Boy" b/w "Yes I Know".   Nice two-sider, group vocals with strong lead vocal, on the borderline of a girl group sound and a Motown sound. "HB" is a brilliant uptempo dancer, "YIK" is a good midtempo.  Rarely seen on eBay!    Labels: clean except for xol on one side only (the "Yes I Know" side).   I don't know if this is the promo label for this release but I think so; I also doubt that it was commercially available, as it's THAT scarce.          Vinyl is VG++ with full original gloss, obviously rarely played (though a bit mishandled at some point, acquiring a few surface hairlines only); this record still has it's whole life ahead of it!!    Manship has a copy, at 300GBP!

Please see the other Northern Soul / Mod / R&B/ Deep Soul/ Popcorn/ Teener/ Girl Group 45s listed at set price in my ebay Store.  I am also listing a couple other similar special 45s tonight in auction, some very interesting items.....

All records are original pressings unless noted.  Visually graded, but questionable records are playgraded.  NM (Near Mint) is usually my highest grade for 45s.  See our Grading info.  Labels are NM unless noted; and item has no writing, stamps, stickers, drillholes, or other noteworthy defects unless specifically noted or shown in photos otherwise.
