Description

Original 1997 vinyl pressing of Laika's terrific double LP 'Sounds Of The Satellites', complete with lyric sheet insert.

The album has twelve superb tracks spread over it's four sides and it was highly acclaimed by the music press on it's release.

Musically, the band could be described as electronica with "dreamy" female vocals. However, it also relies on a more organic approach to songwriting with live drums and percussion, together with guitars and samples, creating a complex layered and polyrhythmic blend of beats and diverse analogue sounds that defies simple categorization.

The double LP is on the Too Pure record label, catalogue number PURE 62.

The vinyl is in fantastic shape. It has hardly been used, looks like new and plays perfectly. Condition: "Excellent+"

The sleeve is also in brilliant form, still 95% protected by it's original pvc shrink wrap. Condition: "Excellent+".

The full size lyric sheet insert is completely undamaged and is also in "Excellent+" condition.
