LAIKA Sounds Of The Satellites (Too Pure 62) RARE Original UK 1st Pressing MINT
Original UK first pressing of Laika`s "Sounds Of The Satellites" on Too Pure Records (February 1997).
I distinctly recall seeing the band at a local gig when this album was released and being utterly charmed by the mix of lounge-y electronic burble and the propulsive, almost krautrock-like drive of the rhythm section. Sophisticated progressive pop from the late 20th century, the barking of hound dogs in space.
GRADING:
MINT(-) COVER, near-perfect except for a light squeeze to the spine, at bottom. Please see photos for details.
- Very slightly grazed bottom edge, right corner.
MINT RECORDS in unplayed condition.
