Description

"Here Comes the Ice Cream Man". The date on this record, July 18, 1967, makes this the earliest professionally recorded example of Larry Norman on record. It's a demo for his band People!.

It's a captivating piece of pure '60s psychedelic pop. It has a full band on it, with full production. Guitar, bass, drums, keys. Larry sings the entire song.

It's sort of like if The Monkees met The Zombies at a Beatles convention. I have no idea why Capitol Records didn't release this song. It surely would've been a hit.

You've never heard it before. You should. It's kinda awesome. And as Larry's earliest pro recording it has some considerable historical weight.
