Description
An original pressing of the Testifying album by The Larry Young Trio on New Jazz (NJLP 8249).
The purple and silver label reads: "NEW JAZZ A product of Prestige Records Inc., 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." "RVG" is machine-stamped in the trail off. The matrix reads: "NJLP-8249."
The cover looks pretty clean with some slight shelf wear. On the front the laminate is peeling very slightly along the open edge and is a small circle mark in the top right corner (looks like a sticker was removed). The back has some discoloration/water staining along two edges. Overall there is some slight discoloration and ring wear. There is also a large red "PREVIEW COPY" stamp along the seam edge. All four corners are dinged a bit.
The vinyl is VG (6 out of 10, used with a fair number of light scratches and scuffs). This still looks like a decent record, but there are some visual marks on both sides that produce some audible crackle (not overpowering) but none skip on my player. This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
