Las Mary Jets was the first all girl rock group in Mexico, formed in 1957. All four members’ names were María and graduated from the Music Conservatory and played their own instruments. They were active touring the South of the U.S.A and other places. They disbanded once they married.


The track A is dedicated to Raúl "el Ratón" Macías Guevara (Mexico City, 1934-2009) who was a famous Mexican boxer, who won in 1955 the world bantamweight championship of the National Boxing Association.
