This is the original RCA/Soria Series issue, NOT a reissue!

RCA Records Living Stereo Soria Series two disc set in slipcase, LDS 6065, with shaded dog label discs, pressed in the US.  Stampers are 5s 1s 1s 1s.  Includes the original booklet and the often-missing card with the program details which was originally packed under the shrinkwrap on the back. 

The Royal Ballet, Gala Performances.  Ernest Ansermet conducts the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden, in excerpts from famous ballets.  Includes Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty, Chopin, Les Sylphides, Adam, Giselle, Delibes, Coppelia, Rossini, La Boutique Fantasque, and Schumann, Carnaval.  See pics for program details.

Incredible sound, great performances, and very rare in its original issue.  One of the most sought-after of all classical recordings.  Never reissued by RCA, except for a Victrola which has only two of the four sides. 

Discs are very conservatively graded at VG++.  No visible spindle wear, these were not often played.  Just a few faint sleeve hairlines.  Plays beautifully, with only a bit of occasional very light surface noise.  Play graded all the way through.  Slipcase is VG+, light general wear, with just bit of fraying at the upper left hand corner and a couple of spots on the back.  Slipcase bookend insert VG++, just bit of wear at one of the interior corners, and a tiny scar on the spine.  Text on the spine is bright and clear.  Booklet VG+, a couple small brown spots on the bqck.  Card with program is VG, minor bending, otherwise fine.  Includes original RCA/Soria poly-lined inner sleeves.  These have been replaced with new poly-lined sleeve.
