** Rare 1973 USA ATLANTIC PRESSING of this classic debut LED ZEPPELIN vinyl LP. Sleeve still has the old Atlantic address as 1841 Broadway, New York, New York 10023 - but the labels have the new address as 75 Rockefeller Plaza, N.Y, N.Y.  **

** This LP was bought by myself new in 1973. It is still shrink-wrapped, but the opening seal has been broken, to take the record out. The sleeve is still in almost perfect condition. The record has been played no more than five or six times in total, on a Thorens turntable. The disc has been graded Excellent, due to a couple of minor surface marks which were on the record from new. **

An Excellent condition disc. A couple of minor surface marks which have been on the record from new, but otherwise hardly any surface marks at all. No visible spindle marks. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Immaculate, clean labels. Superb sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise. This record has been played very few times (5 or 6 at the most..). I can say this with confidence, as I've owned this LP from new. Great quality audio. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve in Near Mint condition. Still shrink-wrapped (see photos), although the opening seal has been broken, to take the record out of the sleeve. ** The rippling on the sleeve you see in the photos is the shrink wrapping itself **. The sleeve itself is in perfect, crisp condition. No wear anywhere. No creasing. No writing anywhere. No seam splits anywhere. Spine in perfect condition, with all text clearly legible.

Supplied in original USA Atlantic company inner-sleeve which is in excellent condition with no creasing and no seam splits, and no writing anywhere. There is however a 4cm seam split in the middle of the lower seam - (which was there when I first opened the sealed LP - 44 years ago!).

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
