Led Zeppelin I
Atlantic 588171 Plum / Red labels
UK 1969
A//1 B//1 This is the very first press of this legendary record.
My own album and I have played it today twice over. Even though there are quite a few hairlines it played very nicely. I like it better than on CD, the audio seems more powerful and natural. There were not any jumps or clicks at all. These original vinyls were built to last!!
This is the extremely rare Led Zeppelin I album. There aren't any skips or jumps or I would not list the album. Not mint to the eye with quite a few hairlines but a very great, far better than average condition album that will please most collectors.
The vinyl: G to VG to the eye. Better than that on hearing Hairlines which can hardly be heard on replay. Only on some of the quiet places some static can be heard. Otherwise a great deep sheen, a lovely vinyl. The audio is beautiful, powerful and the way these first issues were cut would never be equalled in any re-issue. A great vinyl that will sit fine in all but the most demanding collections, but definitely NOT for the Mint or EX collector.
The cover: VG+ Nice laminated original cover without any damage.
The labels: NO writing. Super!!
This has the original blue printed inner sleeve with side seamsplits but fine otherwise.
This will make a great investment for the future as these are now far and few between.
Postage: Within the UK recorded. I will make sure this is a stiff package and will reach you as I have sent it. International postage will be secure and recorded if over £40.00. This will mean an extra signed for fee for insurance. Please wait for my invoice before paying in this case. Any item for Italy will be sent Signed For, whatever the price. This is because of the relative unreliability of the Italian postal services.
