On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Led Zeppelin called "Led Zeppelin" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS LED ZEPPELIN'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE ATLANTIC LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP ESPECIALLY RARE - IS THAT IT IS THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY LP - WITH 'TURQUOISE LETTERING' ON THE COVER FRONT AND 'SUPERHYPE' CREDIT ON THE RECORD LABELS!!!!  ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - EVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE 'TURQUOISE' SLEEVE LETTERING - BEFORE IT WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE COMMON 'ORANGE LETTERED' COVERS THAT FOLLOWED!!!!  AND THE LABEL CREDITS WERE ALSO LATER CHANGED FROM 'SUPERHYPE' TO 'WARNER BROS'!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH DIFFERENT (& EARLIEST POSSIBLE!) MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP - AND MAKES IT THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST LED ZEPPELIN LP EVER MADE!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF 'TURQUOISE' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - WERE EVER PRESSED WITH UNCORRECTED 1ST PRESS MATRIXES (SEE PICTURES!) AND THESE WERE IMMEDIATELY CHANGED PRIOR TO RELEASE!!!!  ALL LATER 'TURQUOISE' 1ST PRESSINGS (AND ALL THE 'ORANGE LETTERED' PRESSINGS THAT FOLLOWED!) HAVE AN EXTRA 'ETCHED' NUMBER '8' ADDED TO THE MATRIXES AND SHOW A LATER PRESSING!!!!   IN FACT, VIRTUALLY EVERY PRESSING OF THIS LP HAS THIS 'EXTRA 8' ETCHED ON THE MATRIXES - (EVEN MOST OF THE 'TURQUOISE' 1ST PRESSINGS!) AND IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSINGS WITH UNCORRECTED 1ST PRESS MATRIXES LIKE THIS ONE HAS!!!!  SO DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE SERIOUS RARITY OF THIS LP!!!!  BECAUSE, NOT ONLY IS IT THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESSING WITH 'TURQUOISE LETTERING' ON THE COVER FRONT AND 'SUPERHYPE' CREDIT ON THE LABELS - BUT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH AMAZINGLY RARE UNCORRECTED MATRIXES ASWELL!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' AND RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

BUT THERE IS 1 MORE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL - THAT SHOWS THAT THIS LP IS FROM THE VERY FIRST BATCH EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS TRULY MAKES THIS LP - THE RAREST OF THE RARE!!!!  BECAUSE ONLY THE VERY FIRST BATCH EVER MADE (AROUND 500 COPIES ONLY!) EVER HAD THE 2 DETAILS I AM ABOUT TO DESCRIBE!!!!  FIRSTLY - THE SIDE ONE LABEL IS INCORRECTLY PRINTED '1,3,4 SUPERHYPE MUSIC' AND '3 JEWEL MUSIC'!!!!  OBVIOUSLY THE THIRD TRACK DIDNT HAVE 2 CREDITS - SO THIS WAS IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED TO '1,2,4 SUPERHYPE MUSIC' INSTEAD - AS TRACK 3 WAS CREDITED TO 'JEWEL MUSIC' ONLY!!!!  AND SECONDLY (ALSO ON THE SIDE ONE LABEL!) THE TRACK LISTING '2. BLACK MOUNTAIN SIDE' CREDIT WAS PRINTED FAR TO HIGH AND IS ALMOST TOUCHING THE TRACK 1 LISTING!!!!  AGAIN - THIS WAS CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY!!!!  ONLY THE FIRST BATCH EVER MADE (AROUND 500 COPIES!) EVER HAD BOTH OF THESE 2 AMAZING LABEL ERRORS - MAKING THIS QUITE LITERALLY, THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!

SO IN SHORT THIS LP HAS:-

1) TURQUOISE LETTERED COVER (LATER ONES DONT!)

2) 'SUPERHYPE' CREDITS TO THE LABELS (LATER ONES DONT!)

3) 'UNCORRECTED' MATRIXES (ONLY AROUND 60% OF THE 'EARLIEST' TURQUOISES EVER HAD THIS - THE LATER TURQUOISES DID NOT!)

4) THE SIDE ONE LABEL IS INCORRECTLY PRINTED '1,3,4 SUPERHYPE MUSIC' AND '3 JEWEL MUSIC' (THIS ONLY EVER HAPPENED ON THE 'EARLIEST' 5% OF THE TURQUOISES - WITH ALMOST ALL HAVING THE LATER 'CORRECTED' CREDITS STATING:- '1,2,4 SUPERHYPE MUSIC' INSTEAD!!!!

5) AND LASTLY ON THE VERY FIRST BATCH EVER MADE - THE '2. BLACK MOUNTAIN SIDE' CREDIT WAS PRINTED FAR TO HIGH AND IS ALMOST TOUCHING THE TRACK 1 LISTING ON SIDE ONE!). 

ONLY THE VERY FIRST BATCH OF AROUND 500 COPIES EVER MADE, EVER HAD ALL THE 5 IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS DETAILS LISTED ABOVE (LATER ONES DID NOT!) - AND MAKES THIS UNDOUBTEDLY THE ALL TIME RAREST LED ZEPPELIN LP EVER MADE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  AND THE RECORD PLAYS SUPERBLY TOO - WITH NO DISTORTION AND SUPERB SOUND QUALITY!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'SUPERHYPE' CREDITS ON THE LABELS, 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 2 LABEL ERRORS (SEE ABOVE!), 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE,  'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'UNCORRECTED' 1ST PRESS '588171 A//1' & '588171 B//1' MATRIX ENDINGS, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TURQUOISE LETTERED' FULLY LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK Atlantic 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is 588 171 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red/Maroon Atlantic labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  And the 2 TINY black dots on 1 label are NOT ink - they are simply 2 TINY vinyl residue traces left from the ORIGINAL manufacturing process back in 1969 (and no doubt could easily be removed if so wished)!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition - and so VERY hard to find like this!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep feelable scratches, NO nasty surface marks, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light TINY surface traces (almost INVISIBLE and completely NON sounding!), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some very VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Turquoise Lettered' FULLY Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition - and is a very VERY decent example indeed, with NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from a few absolutely TINY creases!), NO nasty brown creases AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, only some VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the bottom 2 corner tips, NO splits, shiny laminate, only an absolutely MEGA thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, only a few ULTRA light laminate impressions (though you have to look very VERY hard indeed under light to see these!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), NO annotations, only a couple of absolutely ULTRA faint stain traces (you have to look VERY hard to spot these!), NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO yellowing, only a MEGA thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, only 2 slightly more noticeable (though absolutely TINY!) creases on the top edge, only a few VERY light creases elsewhere, only the VERY slightest touch of uneveness on the back ONLY, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  And of course, obviously this cover has NO nasty edge splits, and NO writing AT ALL!!!!  And despite this being a very VERY decent 'Turquoise' 1st Press Cover indeed (with absolutely NO major defects AT ALL!), I will be very VERY strict on this cover indeed (because of the creasing & laminate lifting) - though as my pictures clearly show, this cover is still VERY decent indeed, has NO nasty brown creases, and has NO yellowing AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is undoubtedly still a very VERY decent cover indeed, with absolutely NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY FINDING THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH ALL THE AMAZING DETAILS GIVEN ABOVE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
