This is an original UK 1971 FIRST PRESSING of their classic LP called LED ZEPPELIN IV . As you can see if you double click the pictures you can see that this is one of the ULTRA RARE and the rarest variations due to the fact it has the Led Zeppelin sticker and also the Kinney music ltd superhype Music inc Sticker.These stickers only appeared on the very first pressings due to an error made by Atlantic that credited Peter Grant as the producer.All later pressings were corrected with Jimmy Page as producer and Jimmy Page Kinney Superhype credits printed directly onto the record labels. So you can be sure this is the FIRST and EARLIEST RARE PRESSING. The none laminated Gate Fold jacket is in VERY GOOD ++ condition. ( I love that picture of the brand new High Rise block of flats looking down on the derelict half demolished 2 up 2 down terrace houses, its a great shot of how I remember the early 70s in Manchester). The inside of the gate fold is in EXCELLENT condition. The picture inner sleeve has a tare adjacent the line "Dear lady can you hear the wing blow about 3 inches long and slight edge ware. The record labels are in EXCELLENT condition with no doodles or writing that should not be there. The LP vinyl side one still has a lovely sheen to it but there are some hairlines. Very slight surface noise during the quieter parts but nothing at all to spoil things and side 1 plays beautifully with no skips clicks or pops it really does play well. Side 2 also has a wonderful sheen to it but again there are hairlines. I`m guessing a previous owner has stored this LP in the picture inner sleeve hence the damage to the sleeve and the hairlines. But just like side 1 side 2 plays just as well. No jumps or sticking no bad crackle to spoil the music these hairlines actually have no detrimental affect on the music.Id say it plays a good 8 or 8.5 out of 10. I would be happy to grade this whole package as VERY GOOD ++ . This is a very respectable copy of an EXCEPTIONALLY rare UK first pressing.

All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves. This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition of the original inner sleeve .
