On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by LED ZEPPELIN IV" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press ATLANTIC DELUXE label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!   AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK ATLANTIC 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS LYRIC INNER SLEEVE WITH THE FLIPBACKS  AND 1ST PRESS MATT GATEFOLD COVER!!!! 

This auction is for the incredibly hard to find plum/red label issued in 1971. This is a bit special really as the condition of this vinyl is in one word "fabulous". This will be an upgrade for most discerning collectors and does not show up very often in this collectible investment grade condition!!

****ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!****PERPLEXING SONGCRAFT!!!***AN INSPIRATION TO MANY SUBSEQUENT TOPACTS!!!***

!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! Most have been bought up by collectors!! This is hardly offered these days!!

In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this PROGMONSTER. Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks either, this is really a stunning very heavy glossy jet black vinyl.The audio is impeccable. Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

Gatefold  Sleeve:  VG+/EX.  Extremely hard to find this sleeve without any issues. This one is still in splendid condition!! These matt sleeves are always very difficult to keep in optimum condition. Especially the darker sleeves like e.g. Black Sabbath's Vol.4 usually do not fare well with fading colours etc. This sleeve has done better than average with just extremely light storage wear on the bottom. The spine is fine without damage. The opening is still crisp. The only small flaw is a tiny seam split on the opening of the back gate, which has been repaired (2cm). Light storage wear to the edges. This will be a fantastic copy for most prog collectors.

Vinyl: EX.  Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen. A SUPERB VINYL COPY WHICH WILL PROVE HARD TO BETTER!!! There are a couple of the usual sleeve retraction paper scuff traces. There are no marks. There are one or two very light,short and superficial hairlines but these have no audio consequence - the record sounds sensational, the vinyl being the extremely thick variety the equivalent of a Rolls Royce in cars.
 Outstanding audio delivery in all respects with a crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there is barely any surface noise. This is a beautifully clean pressing (and I must emphasise again how difficult it is to find a copy which plays this well). There is still a trace of vinyl debris on the spindle hole which indicates that this copy has not been played much at all. The whole LP sounds absolutely stunning and plays to an extremely high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX for audio and appearance  - great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.

Inner sleeve: the original inner sleeve is still there with the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven", but has side splits and a name to the front. An extremely fragile item which I have never seen yet without splits due to the paper used which looks like blotting paper. The vinyl will be sent out in a replacement inner along with this lyric inner sleeve.
