HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, SWAN SONG (A0051) SCARCE UK FIRST PRESSING  (December 1982) OF LED ZEPPELIN'S SENSATIONAL "Coda" LP,  WITH EIGHT UNRELEASED RECORDINGS FROM THE PERIOD 1969 - 1978

THE RECORD IS IN ONE PLAY CONDITION AND DELIVERS SUPERB MINT AUDIO THROUGHOUT
THE FIRST ISSUE TEXTURED GATEFOLD COVER WITH EMBOSSED FELT LETTERING IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (please see detailed assessment below)
THE RARE (VERY FIRST ISSUE ONLY), THICK CARD TEXTURED INNER SLEEVE IS NEAR MINT
FIRST UK PRESS MATRIX NUMBERS: A0051 - A - 2 / A0051- B (first and only UK pressing before German imports became the only available copies in UK record shops) - there are also several matrix corrections on both run-off grooves, another unique characteristic of a genuine UK first pressing

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with just ONE possible spindle mark on Side Two. The original owner has written their name at the top of the Side One label (small and unobtrusive - please see close-up photo) before playing Side One just the one time and putting the album away
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN with just some (very) light hairlines mostly caused by movement of the record within the textured card inner but these have NO audio consequence - A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF MID/HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL (much thicker and more robust than the later German presses and delivering tremendous CLEAN, CLEAR POWERFUL AUDIO)
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, DEEP, RICH VIBRANT SOUND - FANTASTIC CUT. There are NO scratches, NO sticks, NO jumps, NO click/pops and NO surface noise. A REALLY BEAUTIFUL COPY. Must be graded MINT for audio - the playback is FLAWLESS. I GUARANTEE A FINER PLAYING UK FIRST PRESSING WOULD BE VERY HARD TO LOCATE INDEED - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The gatefold cover is critically graded as an EXCELLENT. The only fault being some storage discolouration and wear to the thick spine (please see photos) but all spine text is still CLEAR and BOLD otherwise, the sleeve is unworn with CRISP, SHARP edges and NO surface rubbing (the original owners' name is again written neatly and unobtrusively on the back top corner of the sleeve but this is again, in my opinion, a very minor issue)
INNER SLEEVE: The original inner is NEAR MINT with NO splits to any of the edges and just a light crease mark to the bottom corner. The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
