Description

Here we have an early pressing of the first Led Zeppelin album from 1969.The laminated cover has two flaws.A three inch pinch crease which goes across the bottom right hand corner front and back and a two inch pinch crease near the top left hand corner on the front. The vinyl which I would grade in at least EX to possibly EX+ condition has one light mark across You Shook Me and Dazed And Confused which does not affect sound quality. The other marks on the vinyl are of the light fine type you get from taking a record out of its inner. The album plays through nicely, the only track that suffers a little background noise is Your Time Is Gonna Come, the opener on side two. Those people who know this album also know this track is notorious to get a clean version because of its long quiet intro. The noise passes after about thirty seconds and as there are no marks on this bit I believe with some careful cleaning a lot of this could be removed. In addition this is an early pressing, matrix mumbers are 588171 A1 and 588171 B1.This copy has the Warner Brothers credit on the label.
