Led Zeppelin : Houses Of The Holy A2/B2
This first pressing plays with great quality for the vast majority. There is just a little more static during 'No Quarter'. This is of course the Robert Ludwig cut which is known as a very strong audiophile copy. There are no clicks or pops at all!
The cover and lyric inner are in superb condition also. They are rarely seen as clean as this.

Play grading
S1 plays with stunning clarity and there are no clicks or pops at all. There is barely any 'background', just a little on 'The Rain Song' but it is minimal. S2 again plays with very impressive audio and only 'No Quarter' has a little static/crackle in some of the quieter sections, a common feature with this track on the first pressings. Aside from that this S2 plays with fantastic clarity and definition and again not a single click or pop.
Visual grading
This is a very clean vinyl and the only obvious 'mark' is a faint hairline scuff across S1 which has no affect on the audio. Aside from that there are only a handful of very faint hairlines and there are no scratches. It retains a very healthy glossy sheen and has definitely not been over-played. There is some wear but definitely not an excessive amount.
The Gatefold
This is one of the finest examples of this cover that I have ever seen. It is so clean and has barely any wear - there is just one small rub on the top edge of the back cover. Apart from that the edges and spine are in superb condition and for once there is no corner wear. The opening edge also looks untouched. The front and back cover are immaculate with no marking and the inside is as close to perfect as could be, just a minor (very minor!) touch of fading near the top edge.
The Lyric Inner
The textured inner is also in fantastic order and rarely seen as impressive as this. There are a couple of faint marks but overall it is very clean with no side splits or creasing.
The Labels
The green/orange labels have no marking or writing and not too much spindle wear.
