LED ZEPPELIN Houses Of The Holy A4 / B1 UK 1973
This very early pressing plays with excellent audio for the majority and comes complete with a very clean gatefold and lyric inner.

The audio on S1 is Ex+ (Near Mint in many sections / track 2 is Ex to Ex+)
The audio on S2 is Ex+ (Near Mint in some sections / track 3 ranges between VG+ & Ex+)

The lyric sleeve is Ex+
The labels are Near Mint-
Visual grading
The vinyl is exceptionally clean and has been very well cared for down the years. There are no scratches and only a small number of very faint sleeve removal hairlines. It retains a very healthy glossy sheen and whilst there is some spindle wear the audio has not been affected adversely.
Play grading
With only a minor amount of light static on the intro 'The Song Remains The Same' plays with exceptionally clear sound. There is no interference at all. Displaying tremendous power there is not one single click or pop. For such a quiet track 'The Rain Song' is very impressive and has only very light static here and there. It is very much in the background and does not intrude on the audio quality in my opinion and there is certainly no loud crackle etc. The acoustic intro on 'Over The Hills and Far Away' has great clarity and only a touch of mega light static. The remainder plays in superb style and is Near Mint without doubt and even the very quiet ending has almost no 'background'. A fantastic version. 'The Crunge' ends S1 with wonderful audio and again no clicks or pops. There is a little distortion on the vocal but this is common with this track.
'Dancing Days' begins S2 in great style and has no obvious interference, just a minimal amount of static literally at the end. 'D'yer Mak'er' is another track displaying superb depth and power. The bass is so strong here and again there are no clicks or pops. 'No Quarter' plays well, the music is very clear, but there is some light crackle in the quieter sections. The louder guitar sections play in supreme style with no interference. 'The Ocean' has some crackle on the spoken intro and then impresses with excellent audio. There is a little distortion on the top level but again this is common being the final track. The very quiet mid section plays nigh on perfectly.
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in excellent shape for 45 years and the edges have only minor rubbing. There is a small amount of wear on the right hand corners but the top and bottom of the spine are relatively clean. The wide spine itself is in great condition with barely any wear. The opening edge also has hardly any handling wear. The front and back cover are very clean with no marking and only a couple of faint scratch type marks. The inside of the gatefold is in superb condition with just some light white 'spotting' along the top. Overall a lovely example of this gatefold with only minor shelf wear.
Lyric sleeve
The thick card lyric inner has only light fading down the edges and no obvious marking. There are no splits and it remains in very clean condition.
The Labels
You can tell the LP has been played a fair amount due to the spindle wear but the labels are still mega clean with no marking or writing on them.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
