LED ZEPPELIN II - 1969 RED/PLUM LABEL (ATLANTIC 588198 MATRIX A2/B2)
MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN
This is the 4th album of a series of 12" vinyl LP's that I am auctioning out of my own private collection.
It was purchased new soon after its1969 release.
Since then, it has been carefully stored in an upright 90' position, free from any crushing.

* Original Gatefold sleeve
* Original poly inner sleeve
I have graded the record and cover using my interpretation of the Goldmine Grading System. The condition of the record is VG+ and the album cover also at VG+ grading. (This would be similar to an EXCELLENT grading for both, using the definition as described in the Record Collectors Guide Grading System)
RECORD VISUAL - VG+
The playing surfaces are shiny black and gleam like new with no visible flaws.
Some light hairline surface scuffs only visible under intense light.
Labels in superb condition.
RECORD AUDIO - VG+
Playgraded yesterday on Project turntable with Ortofon cartridge.
No skipping, no sticking and no loud pops.
Enjoyable listening experience throughout.
Very minor odd background noise heard between some tracks or just detectable in the odd quiet part of a track. A couple of soft clicks during quiet opening intro part of Side 2 Track 5 but overall, nothing that spoils the listening experience.
RECORD COVER - VG+
Printed and manufactured by E.J. Day & Co Ltd London
The spine is sound but the edges and corners show some minor wear or feathered spots. Some spot rubbing through to white can be seen.
There is a mark on the top right hand corner where a price sticker was removed.
Typeface perfectly legible.
No writing, tears or splits.
The original poly inner sleeve has a double tear in the centre where it caught the album cover one time when it was being inserted (see picture)
