Description

Led Zeppelin II A2/B2 Atlantic 58818 UK 1969 Red/Plum Label. This is a collectable first pressing on the red/plum label. It has the original E.J Day light brown coloured gate-fold. Label shows 'Copyright Control' publishing credit. The matrix numbers, as below, also show just how early a first pressing this is. 588198 // A / 2 // 1 1 14
588198 // B / 2 // 1 1 28

The vinyl, despite a few hairline scratches plays as EXCELLENT, however the cover shows obvious signs of age, poor storage and handling, issues. The sleeve that houses the record has become detached on 3 sides (see photo); there is a tear on the front (top right) and another on the reverse (top left). There are also a couple of pen marks on reverse. Storage markings are also clearly visible (see photos). The spine is very worn.
No point in denying it. The cover is not great but the vinyl sounds just like it should do!
