Description

• Atlantic Records SD 8236, this is an original US stereo pressing - NOT a reissue - of the classic second album from Led Zeppelin imaginatively titled "Led Zeppelin II". This pressing has the initials "RL" and "SS" clearly etched in the trail off on both sides of the vinyl, making this the more sought after "hot mix" pressing that was recalled soon after the album was released. Heavy gatefold jacket is VG++, showing some minor handling around edges and some age spotting; original owner wrote the number A794 at lower back corner in pen. Vinyl is a shiny and clean VG+/VG++, showing a few sleeve lines and some surface marks. Playback is solid throughout - a couple of the small surface marks cause some background crackle/pops during quieter interludes, but nothing terribly distracting - while labels are crisp with no spindle wear.
