Description
LED ZEPPELIN II
"The Lemon Song / Thankyou" on Side 1 Labels
"Livin' Lovin' Maid" Correction on Side 2 Labels
Atlantic Records 588198 : MATRIX NOs: A2 / B2
Side 1 plays in a Fair condition with a couple of deep scratches, a generous amount of crackle, the occasional jump and a few locked grooves on certain tracks.
Side 2 is a little bit better for it's wear. It doesn't jump and most of the scratches aren't as deep. I think it could grade as Good, but no higher.
The cover is in Fair condition. It shows a fair amount of wear and there's a tear along the bottom seam. It could be repaired but I have chose not to do this. The spine is still present but it's detached from the gatefold and is quite worn down.
The record comes in a generic white paper inner sleeve that is in a similar condition to the rest of the album
Despite the wear, this record's sound quality is still pretty good and although it won't be for the discriminating audiophile it could still serve as a nice collection filler. The first A2/B2 issue is a wonderful sounding pressing!
