LED ZEPPELIN II - 1969 1st PRESS ATLANTIC RED/MAROON LABEL . ATLANTIC 588198
I've played this album and it has Wonderful Audio Sound! No distortion in any form on either side. No warps or other sounding scratches. Visually Nr Mint! throughout, the labels have no spindle marks, no damage, writing on either labels or gatefold sleeve. The Photographs show cover is an early light brown cover, the later ones are dark brown . All spinal titles undamaged, and clearly visible there is a little shelf ware and small damage top left on the sleeve. This is quite exceptable, The condition is so good, no writing, label damage, its hard to beleive this album is 40 Years old! this is a STUNNING! 1st Press, and a Great Audio COPY!

This Album was one of most eagerly awaited albums of 1969. Released on 22nd October it showed a change in direction, Harder edged and a more sexual sounding Robert Plant, with 2 acoustic tracks and alot more subtle than its predecessor. Recorded at London's Olympic and Morgan Studios. But tracks were also laid down in LA, Memphis, New York, Even a small Studio in Vancouver ( the hut ). On its release it got rave revues, and sold well. Even so original copies in this condition almost impossible to find. Nowadays the Album is considered as a milestone in Led Zeppelins musical history. It's one of my favorites, with The Lemon Song, and Thank You all time favorites.
